1876

On land in the municipality cadaster, Josef Přibil from Nové Město nad Metují built a small, single-story building with a water-driven machine for folding yarn and its own weir.

The mill burns down on the day of the Krčín fair.

Hydroelectricity Plant

On the site of the mill, the Krčín municipality establishes a hydroelectricity plant with a Francis turbine, produced by the company Josef Prokop and Sons from Pardubice (52 pieces).

Hydroelectricity Plant

Municipality power plant is established. Equipped with a diesel water turbine.

Annual production is 100,000 kWh.

The Krčín municipality installs a second Francis turbine, produced by the company Bernard from Prague-Karlín (32 pcs, 40 and 25 kW generators).
